Industrial Pneumatics

The Industrial Pneumatics training system provides the hands-on experience required to effectively troubleshoot and repair pneumatics systems used by today’s employers. This module familiarizes students with design, construction, and operation of pneumatic components. The EXPI acts as a building block to TII’s other technology systems, designed to interface with our other mobile benches.

Our training system is accompanied by a comprehensive student manual. The curriculum begins with the fundamentals of pneumatics, which can be used as an introduction to the technology or as a review of key principles. Additional sections focus on different types of valves, cylinders, and pneumatic devices like vacuum Venturi generators, air motors, and rotary actuators.

  • Lockable storage area provides space for manuals and additional components
  • Specialty components available to expand capabilities of the system
  • Mounting hardware included

Instrumentation Section

  • Instrumentation Section is mounted at eye-level for easy reading of gauges
  • Panel is constructed of 16-guage chrome plated and brushed steel
  • All gauges, cylinders, and instruments have been identified in large letting
  • Includes: filter / regulator, lubricator, system pressure gauge, two in-line pressure testing gauges, four-port manifold, manometer, flowmeter, 24-volt DC power supply, momentary switch with output jacks

Component Panel

  • Mounted at an angle for ease of use
  • Constructed of 16-guage chrome plated and brushed steel
  • All instruments are clearly identified
  • 5-way, 3-position closed center lever-operated directional control valve
  • 2-position double-piloted directional control valve

Additional Components

  • Push-button actuator to fit all directional control valve bodies
  • Two flow control valves
  • Needle valve, shuttle valve, and check valve
  • Two T-Fittings
  • 16 pneumatic hoses with quick connect / disconnect couplers, color-coded by length
  • Venturi assembly
  • Manometer Accessories
  • Air supply house
  • Solenoid Valve Cable

Storage Compartment

  • Behind the component panel and accessed through a hinged door with lock
  • Designed for storing hoses and extra components
  • All components, hoses, instruments, and fitting are industrial-grade design
  • All direction control valves are removable and dissectible
  • Actuators and spools on direction control valves are interchangeable
  • All fittings are ball-check quick connect / disconnect
