The CM284-L1 is a complete industrial-based PLC training system featuring Allen-Bradley’s RSLogix 5000 programming software. The Compact Logix platform is a powerful series of programmable automation controllers. This trainer will allow learners to develop competence in operating, programming, and troubleshooting a true industrial PLC.

The Compact Logix controller is programmed using relay ladder, function block diagram, sequential function block, or structured text programming using Windows-based RSLogix 5000 programming software. This system has a flexible design and expansion capabilities like adding sensor inputs, PID process control, robotic interfacing, or other advanced applications. These performance features allow for a PLC learning experience that is relevant for today’s industrial employers.

Our training system is accompanied by an instructor’s guide as well as a student manual. This manual is a comprehensive student resource, featuring detailed laboratory exercises which familiarize the trainee with PLC operation, automation connectivity via Ethernet communications, and industrial applications. The curriculum begins with basic wiring concepts and quickly moves through circuits, logic, and programming. Additional units focus on troubleshooting and special features of the Allen-Bradley Compact Logix.
